Updates:
I am currently unsure if this is a possible project. I am slowly getting overwhelmed by pegan made games. It proves to be quite hard to get a completely clean and commendable. There seem to be always something about them that keeps saying “we are the world’s own”. Those that may be indeed clean’ish are shared on platforms that are not Christian friendly themselves. Now making me consider making efforts toward the same end. I have no worthy game development skills but am willing to both learn and try. I recently thought I would try and screen record some games that I may find Christian sympathetic either wholly or in part but shortly after felt pretty ashamed to feature such often spotted work on a website I wish to publish nothing short of virtuous content. I hope to expand upon this soon – detailing so far as possible my grievances with pegan made games. Dear God have mercy.
Games and their role
I believe the ministry of “good” games have their place in the well being of a pious Christian. Be it ancient and physically envolved ones or a newly coded game available for computers or “smartphones”. This of cause is provided the good games are not abused – because just as sleep can be inocently great for a Christian’s health. When abused (like oversleeping when one is expected to be up interceding or being productive else where) is blameworthy. I have also found games to be one of the great ways to keep my two sons preoccupied while I try to get some work/rest done.
Note all games seek a Christian’s good
However as with most things on this largely corrupted earth, not all games are safe for Christians. Yes games do not all have to be meant for fortifying a Christian’s inner man – some can solely be played to help easy a wearied mind. But no game we play should be a stumbling block to either ourselves or neighbours. No game we play should trample Christian ethics by directly or indirectly endorsing/toying with evils and vanities like witchcraft, killing, gambling, immorality, lawlessness, crime, vain glorying like pursuit of fashion or riches, atheism and gambling to name a few. And yet there exist tons of games that glories in these vanities and evils either in part or entirely.
The purpose of the article
I therefore aim to share below Android games I have previewed and found to be Christian friendly. As noted above, these are not necessarilly games that directly fortify the spiritual being of a Christian but rather those that do not wound the spiritual man as they are enjoyed. To learn about my Christian credibility, you can both analyse my position and reasoning on each game app and also go through the older Journal entries listed here. As it was with Paul, I believe that I also have the Spirit of the Father – even God. While my previews were carried out on an Android smartphone, the view on each game should apply on game versions that have also been adapted for other non-Android based smartphones. I will also try to assign a scoring for each game out of 100%. This is because I am aim to include those that aren’t entirely perfect but with blemishes that are not essentially material. I also aim to point out on those with any scoring less than 100%, areas I would improve if I could to render them more friendlier. I shall not even attempt to account for games with obviously vain or aborminable gameplay/titles. The focus instead is to account for those that would get one feeling they need to try out to find out what they about.
The Criteria on which a game’s friendliness is evaluated
Games are evaluated based on their gameplay or theme, the cleanness of language used, the chasteness of dress code where human resembling figures are used, vanities, and where applicable background music. I am aim to also list those non-obvious one that I shall have concluded to be not only unfriendly but harmful and to note in short how each was concluded so. The list will ever be subject to expansion since newer games are expected to be coming into being – even if we may not so wish for the sake of their being often contaminated with the world. After all, most of their developers are almost always the world’s own.
And because a game glory is the fun is brings about, scoring shall entirely lay on the Christian friendliness but also. Yes it would be great if we should have have a community of earnest Christian developers ever developing fun and clean games for us, but until then, we maximise . Yes Google Play’s landing page is often offenseful but so is the shopping plaza where my grocery supermarket is. A place I often need to visit for sustenance. Of Course I may avoid unnecessary visits to the shopping complex for the same fear offense until I have to. And whenever there, have to do what I need to always do whenever in threatening. The same should
An important sidenote on all games vindicated as Christian friendly
As sidenote for most Android games, no Ads-containing game is Christian friendly that is played while one’s device is connected to the internet. This is because ads are served at random and hence could be about any of the dreaded evils and vanities. So a good game is to be either played offline or be purchased if affordable. Yes so far as I can tell, there is no implied commitment made to play an ads-containing game online when downloading.

The non-Christian Friendly game applications
Jigsaw Puzzles Real– Also referred to as “Real Jigsaw” avounched that it is the world’s own when reviewed. While the most part seemed to check out fine. Their Sports category’s picture thumbnail did not appear like anything a Christian male would want to have anything to do with. This got worse when the category was accessed. The pictures under there proved to be ones that Christians of both genders would want to keep well away from.Fishing for Kids– This as the name implies themes around a fishing gameplay ideally meant for kids.
